About Our League

We welcome all women's basketball players, ages 18 and up! Most of our players have played at the high school level, but we have former JUCO, D1, D2, and D3 college athletes as well! Players can join as free agents (without a team), with a partial team (we can add players to your team), or with a full team. Our Spring 2025 league will tip-off in April at El Camino College in North Torrance!

Our Community

Our league is composed of players from all over Los Angeles. Prepare to make a ton of new friends, as your team pursues a Santa Monica Basketball League Championship!

League Format and Registration

Each team plays 7 regular season games, followed by a single-elimination play-off series (1 - 4 games). All teams make the playoffs! The winning team receives custom Santa Monica Basketball League Championship T-Shirts!

Open Gym and 3-on-3 Night in Redondo Beach (Drop-in/Pick-up play)

We're hosting Open Gym (5-on-5 scrimmaging/pick-up play) and 3-on-3 Night in Redondo Beach year-round now!

We welcome all women's basketball players ages 18 and up, and being a league player is not required to participate in Open Gym and/or 3-on-3 Night.
